Meet your Teacher

Praguna Yoga Shala owner, Yogacharya Kadambari was born and raised in India. She was introduced to Yoga at 8 years of age. After accumulating medals at Yoga competitions worldwide in Artistic Yoga, she decided to deepen her spiritual journey by integrating Yoga into her life, beyond the asanas, the physical practice. She realized during her competitions that people present were more interested in her body, in how she got into the postures, and how flexible she was rather than who she is as a person. She felt a deep part of her needed to be heard and seen as she felt an urge to bring change into people’s life and assist them in their own spiritual path. She then met her masters and teachers who were some of her guides in her spiritual journey of Yoga for many years. After integrating Yoga as her lifestyle, she has now trained many students from all over the world in her Ashram Praguna Shala located in Mysore, India.
