    Healing Herbs from the Garden

    By Sandy

In our home, the garden is not decoration — it is the kitchen's closest ally. Many of the herbs we use daily in teas, cooking, and compresses grow just steps from the door.

    Our Favourites

    • Calendula — for teas, salves, and brightening salads
    • Lemon verbena — calming infusion, supports digestion
    • Rosemary — memory, circulation, and roasted vegetables
    • Mint — refreshing, cooling, and surprisingly versatile
    • Chamomile — the evening companion for restful sleep

Harvest herbs in the morning when their essential oils are most concentrated. Use within hours for maximum potency.

    Making It Part of Life

You don't need a large garden. A windowsill with three pots — rosemary, mint, chamomile — is enough to transform your daily rituals. The act of tending, of noticing new growth, is itself a form of care.

When you make tea from a plant you've watched grow, something shifts. The experience becomes embodied, connected, alive.
