    The kitchen is where many of the conditions for health are quietly shaped. Through the way ingredients are chosen, combined, and prepared, food can become easier to digest, more nourishing, and more supportive of metabolic balance.

    In our kitchen, we work with plant based only, using whole plant foods, herbs and spices not only for flavour but also for their physiological role. Guests learn how to combine fibre, plant proteins, and natural fats in ways that support stable blood sugar, satiety, and sustained energy.

    Simple techniques — soaking, sprouting, slow cooking, fermentation, and thoughtful seasoning — help improve digestibility and increase the bioavailability of nutrients. These principles are well established in nutritional science, yet they are rarely practiced in daily life. Cooking together allows them to become tangible and easy to understand.

    At the same time, the way we approach food matters as much as the ingredients themselves. Attention, pace, and the relationship we cultivate with eating influence digestion and overall wellbeing. For this reason, the work of restoring health begins not only with what is cooked, but with how we cook, eat, and relate to food each day.

    In this Culinary Health Immersion, the kitchen becomes a space of curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Meals are prepared together, slowly and mindfully, in a calm, supportive environment.

    Within our intimate home, you share daily rhythms and practices. Over the course of four days, cooking transforms from a task into a joyful, nourishing experience, and your relationship with food begins to shift naturally.

    How It Works

    This immersive approach combines hands-on culinary learning with mindful lifestyle practices. Over four days, participants:

    • Begin each morning with stretching, breathing, and relaxation exercises, before learning to break the fast.
    • Discover plant-based ingredients, their properties, and how to combine them.
    • Learn nature-inspired techniques — soaking, sprouting, gentle cooking, pickling — and how to enhance flavor with herbs, spices, and dressings.
    • Prepare plant-based, anti-inflammatory meals, gradually building the confidence to cook independently without recipes.
    • Engage in mindful practices: journaling, reflection, and moments of calm to regulate the nervous system and reconnect with what energizes them.
    • Experience intermittent fasting and digital detox, supporting hormone balance, metabolism, and circadian rhythms.

    By the fourth day, participants cook independently, creating plant-based, anti-inflammatory meals from what's available. They leave with practical skills, inspiration, and a deep understanding of food, energy, and their own rhythms, having felt the transformation in their bodies, energy, and mindset.

With natural light, calm corners, and a connection to the garden, you are invited to spend time with yourself — through journaling, guided reflection, or practices like yoga and meditation. This space allows you to notice how your body feels, how your energy shifts, and how simple elements — like a tea made from a plant in the garden — influence you. Living here means noticing what energizes you, what drains you, and how you respond — learning to move through each day with care, attention, and presence. Simple moments, like tending the garden, preparing a meal, or pausing in stillness, become part of a larger practice: living intentionally, creatively, and in harmony with yourself.

    Welcome to our home. I am Sandy. I want to share something important with you: I believe health is not something someone else can give you.

    I believe it is something we learn to cultivate. We live in a world full of information about health, and yet many of us feel further away from it than ever.

    Health is built through the way we eat, the rhythm of our days, and the attention we give to our bodies.

    My role is not to tell you what to do. My role is to guide you back to the intelligence that already exists within you.
